Vidya Balan who has never been in news about her film fee is suddenly being dragged into this debate. Though we have heard about the Kareenas, Priyankas and Katrinas of Bollywood making big moolah, Vidya has largely been unspoken about regarding this matter. But, post the success of her latest film THE DIRTY PICTURE (TDP), we hear that the actress has decided to take the moolah game a bit seriously.
According to reliable sources Vidya has been advised by her close friends to increase her fee and the actress is not averse to this proposition. The sources further reveal that post the success of TDP Vidya has now almost doubled her fee and feelers are being sent to the filmmakers about the same.
Adds the source, "Vidya is suddenly back in the limelight. The actress who was struggling to garner a mainstream acceptance like Kareena, Priyanka and Katrina has suddenly become everyone's favourite post her latest act. The success of TDP has unleashed a new ray of hope in her career and Vidya wants to make the most of it and the idea of increasing her fee is just one of the firsts of her career makeover."
Though no one can deny that Vidya's act in TDP has charmed everyone in Bollywood, all we can hope is that the actress is able to sustain this streak of superstardom for a while.
